Cosmetic Nurse Specialist

Kim Correll and Dr. Shinn have known each other for more than 2 years and are thrilled to be able to finally work together.

Kim works part-time at Adonis Aesthetics assisting Dr. Shinn during surgeries, administers injectables and runs the hair removal and Profractional Skin resurfacing lasers.  When she not at Adonis, Kim is busy with her own business, Aesthetics by Design. 

Kim likes to say that she "fell" into cosmetics – and she's thrilled that she did. She has been a plastic surgery nurse and an injection specialist for more than 19 years. She is very knowledgeable in the aesthetic services field, having been involved from the time the services were first introduced, around 1995. She strives to be on the cutting edge and continues to learn new procedures as soon as they are made available. 

For many years, Kim worked as an operating room nurse as part of a plastic surgery team, both reconstructive and cosmetic. She is sought-after as an educator and a speaker for many aesthetic treatments. Her education and experience allows her to provide patients with the safest and most effective treatments available.

Kim only uses natural and subtle cosmetic procedures to enhance rather than change the skin’s appearance. She conducts a skin-type analysis for each patient and works with them to create their own personalized skin care plan.

Kim is originally from Pennsylvania, but moved to Colorado with her children several years ago. Her family shares a passion for all things equestrian, including rodeo, overnight packing and trail riding. She and her husband purchased an homesteaded ranch in eastern Colorado where they raise cattle and breed mules.
